Facilities
Goose River Farm is located on a bucolic slice of Waldo County in the town of Swanville. Since purchasing the property in the late 1990s, Chris and Lynn Boynton have resurrected the old "Chase & Sanborn" farm and are continually improving and expanding the facilities.
With over 250 acres, including 1,700 feet of frontage on the beautiful Goose River (from whence the farm gets it's name), the farm offers ample riding opportunities on the many bridle paths that wind through the woods and field - over seven miles worth! In addition to the existing paddocks and riding areas, the creation of a new 100 ft. x 200 ft. outdoor riding arena is underway.
The latest addition to the farm is the beautiful 70x140 foot indoor riding arena that allows riding and training year 'round. The facility is fully lit for evening/night riding, and the peat and sand base ensure a gentle surface for your (and your horse's) riding pleasure. The indoor arena facility also includes a viewing area and three stalls for holding horses.
