Goose River Farm and Equestrian Facility

GOOSE RIVER FARM is a little piece of heaven for horses and horse lovers. We are committed to friendly, down–to-earth relationships with the animals on our farm and the folks who own them! The farm has 250 acres of gently rolling hills, woods and fields and over 1500' on the Goose River and Smith Pond. Our 70' x 140' indoor riding arena offers a sand/peat footing and is fully light able for night time riding. The arena is well ventilated and offers a place to ride in the winter away from the ice and snow and a cooler, less buggy place to ride in the summer. We do rent the indoor; please call for pricing and availability. We can offer Team Penning /Ranch Sorting lessons seasonally...

Horse Boarding

We offer full or pasture board. Full board includes a stall at night, daily turn-out, hay and water. We will also feed grain 2 x's daily. Full board comes with pretty much un-limited use of the indoor riding arena. Pasture board offers your horse a paddock, a run-in shed and hay and water. You have use of the indoor arena 2 x's a week.

Weather permitting; the farm has miles of trails that can be used by our boarders.

Our Mission

To give horses a chance to just "be horses" and to give humans a chance to eat great quality beef and pork raised without hormone or antibiotic additives.

Goose River Farm's Naturally Grown Beef & Pork

We offer "natural" beef and pork for sale. Our meats are raised with NO HORMONES/NO ANTIBIOTICS. Our meat may be purchased by the side, the quarter or whole at a price per "hanging weight" and / or custom cut by the pound. Meat may be purchased at our farm location by appointment or at our retail store in Belfast; Monday – Friday from 9 – 5 pm.
